Chester the Cheese-Loving Narwhal
Last Sunday I woke up at 6am and went in to Milk & Hops Astor Place to draw. Milk & Hops is a craft beer & cheese restaurant/bar near Union Square, NYC. The owner and dear friend of mine, Yang, is just as wild and crazy as I am, and has let me have an art explosion full of quirky characters in Milk & Hops. So far, they have commissioned me to create the Marching Band mural, the Beer-Drinking Kraken and one spot illustration of cheese knives on their many white walls. This narwhal is my fourth piece of art there! Now, back to waking up at 6am:
Riding the subway at 6am on a Sunday morning is a real adventure.
