Hi, I’m Caryn Cast! I’m an artist based in New York City and I create murals, paintings, chalk portraits, sculptures and illustrations. My work is inspired by colorful characters on the subway, nyc eateries and the pigeon community populating the sidewalks. I got my start in new york by creating elaborate sidewalk chalkboards for local restaurants, which turned into murals, then illustrations, to showing in galleries and ending up on cooking shows. Today I have murals in NYC, Miami, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Spain and more. I also display paintings, art prints, and smoking lips in galleries around nyc. Stay tuned for my upcoming solo show !
